Ordering has opened up for the much anticipated 2015 Ford
Mustang. The newly designed model has
options that have not been previously offered, and people have been lining up
at dealerships around America waiting for news on pricing and shipment
dates. The cars are not scheduled for
delivery until this fall, but the order books are officially open!
The official announcement from Ford is that the entry level
V6 model will be base priced at $24,425, which is only a $1,090 increase over
2014. The high powered V8 Mustang GT
will start at $32,925 and the 50 Year Limited Edition model costs $46,995. Only 1,964 of these vehicles will be sold, so
if you are hoping to be one of the lucky buyers to purchase at this sticker price
you had better move quickly!
The slight increase in prices is more than justified with a
higher level of standard equipment that includes a backup camera, independent
rear suspension, Ford's voice activated Sync infotainment system and a variety
of other features.
One of the most exciting new features is the Mustang
EcoBoost. This fuel efficient offering
is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder with a minimum of 305 hp and 300
pound per foot of torque. The Mustang
EcoBoost model starts at a modest $25,995.
