2. Strong & Lightweight

The 2015 Ford Explorer is strong and lightweight, which gives you the best of both worlds - durability and efficiency. The vehicle has an incredible EPA rating of 17 city/24 hwy mpg, but can also tow up to 5000 lbs. This makes it great for hauling your recreational equipment - even on long trips.

3. Capability

The 2015 Ford Explorer is capable of handling any driving conditions. Its Terrain Management system allows you to switch your driving settings to match the terrain. This system will get you through mud, sand, grass, gravel and snow with ease. In addition, its Intelligent 4WD continuously monitors driving conditions and vehicle conditions to prevent slip and to keep your Ford Explorer moving safely at all times.

4. Technology

The 2015 Ford Explorer is equipped with the latest and greatest technologies, making your driving experience even better. Built-in navigation system gets you to your destination with ease and an Automatic Climate Control System makes your drive personalized and comfortable. With the Intelligent Access and Push-Button Start feature, there's no need to scramble to get your keys out, because your vehicle's driver side door will sense when the key is nearby. Just touch the car handle to unlock, while keeping your key in your purse or pocket.

5. Driver Assistance

Let's face it, there are a whole lot of distractions out there on the road. So, it's nice to have a vehicle that's on your side. The 2015 Ford Explorer's Lane Keeping System will alert you when it detects your car is drifting into another lane, by sending a vibration to the steering wheel. The Blind Spot Information System lights up a small dot on your side-view mirror, indicating that a vehicle is in your blind spot. Adaptive Cruise Control will reduce speeds for you when it detects traffic slowing and will increase back to your preset speed when traffic clears. The 2015 Ford Explorer's driver assistance technology is like having a backseat driver whose help you actually want.

This is just the tip of the iceberg for the 2015 Ford Explorer, because there's still a whole lot more exploring to do. So, come on down to Havill-Sporel Fort Atkinson Ford Lincoln and take the 2015 Ford Explorer out for a test drive to discover everything it has to offer you.

4 Reasons Why The Ford F-150 Is Still The Best-Selling Vehicle In America

For 32 years, the Ford F-150 has remained the best-selling vehicle in the United States and for 37 years it has remained the best-selling pickup in America. In 2013, over 763,000 Ford F-Series were sold in the U.S. alone. Clearly, there is something about the Ford F-150 that has earned it the title of 'America's Favorite Vehicle' for over three decades.

1. Awards and Recognition

The Ford-150 has been highly recognized and has won numerous awards throughout the years. Here are some of the prestigious awards the Ford-150 has taken home.
  • Cars.com named the 2014 Ford F-150 the 'Most American-Made' vehicle for the 2nd year in a row.
  • PickupTrucks.com named the Ford F-150 the winner of the '2013 Light-Duty Challenge.'
  • Motor Trend magazine named the Ford F-150 the 'Truck of the Year' in 2012, 2009, 2004 and 1997. This is the most awards ever won by any truck since Motor Trend began 'Truck of the Year' in 1989.
  • The Ford F-150 was named the 'Truck of Texas' and 'Best Luxury Pickup' in 2009 by the Texas Auto Writers Association.

2. Innovation

The 2015 Ford F-150 was unveiled in January 2014 and it confirms why the Ford-150 continues to be the best-selling vehicle - Innovation. The 2015 model's body is almost completely made of military-grade aluminum, which reduces the trucks weight by 500-700 lbs. In an era with increasing gas prices, this change will improve the fuel economy of the vehicle. Also, the 2015 Ford-150 will come equipped with a 360-Degree camera view, which uses exterior cameras to create a birds-eye view of the truck. Ford is the first to offer this technology in a truck. It has previously been used in sport utility vehicles.

3. Built Ford Tough

The Ford F-150 pickups are used most often for the toughest jobs all over America. Professionals in labor-intensive industries were polled to see which truck they preferred and counted on to get the job done. In comparison to Chevy, Dodge and Toyota, the Ford F-150 was preferred by 46% of the Livestock Production industry, 57% of Auto Repair Services, 53% of Heavy Construction Companies, 60% of Road Maintenance Crews and 70% of Hazardous Material workers. In addition, 63% of Government workers prefer the Ford F-150 over Chevy, Dodge and Toyota pickups.

4. Safety

Not only are the Ford F-150's tough, innovative and highly recognized - they're incredibly safe. The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety chose the 2014 Ford F-150 as the Top Safety Pick. It also received Good ratings in all four categories it was tested in.

6 Reasons Ford is America's Favorite Brand

In honor of the upcoming holiday, the Fourth of July or should we say the Ford of July - we're counting down the reasons Ford is America's favorite brand. Taking a look at the history, the products and the innovations behind Ford Motor Company, it's no surprise that Ford is America's most beloved brand.

1. American Values

The Ford Motor Company is the world's second largest family-owned business and there's nothing more important to Americans than the value of family.

2. Made in the U.S. of A.

Ford is headquartered in Detroit, Michigan and was launched in 1903. It was founded by American industrialist, Henry Ford.

3. Equality For All

In 1919, Ford began hiring disable veterans that were returning from serving in WWI. This made Ford Motors one of the first companies to employ people with disabilities and to adjust the work environments to their needs.

In the 1920's Ford offered African Americans a wide variety of employment opportunities. Meanwhile, all other auto companies considered African Americans less capable than others. When Ford promoted James Charles Price to purchaser of abrasives and industrial diamonds, he became the first salaried black employee in the industry.

Rose Willow Monroe aka 'Rosie the Riveter' worked at Ford Motor Company.

4. Equal Opportunities

Henry Ford perfected and developed the assembly line in 1908. This made it possible to mass produce the Model T, which gave Americans an affordable car and opened the road to the middle-class. Affordability and equal opportunity is the American way.

5. Higher Wages

In 1914, Ford more than doubled the wages of his workers when he offered $5 per day (about $120 today). Prior to this, the minimum wage was $2.34 per day. Ford is also responsible for the reduced workweek, which started at six 8-hour days in 1922 and changed to five 8-hour days in 1926.

6. Strength

The Ford F-Series remained America's best-selling pickup in 2013 for 37 years in a row and remained the best-selling vehicle for 32 years straight. It is still currently holding those positions through the first half of 2014. Ford was built tough and built to last, just like America.
