Is Ford Motor Company Relaunching The Ford Bronco?

The Ford Bronco was first introduced in 1966 as a two-door sport utility vehicle with a front engine layout. However, production of the Bronco was stopped in 1996, because Ford was in favor of producing smaller vehicles instead, such as the Ford Explorer. So, for almost 20 years the Bronco has not been apart of the automotive industry.

Recently, there have been an abundance of rumors surrounding the possibility of Ford relaunching the classic Ford Bronco. Fans of the iconic vehicle are dying to see a successor, and as of now, the closest thing you can get to a Ford Bronco is the 2015 Ford Troller T4.

Surprisingly, '2015 Ford Bronco' is currently one of the most popular search terms on the internet. This is most likely due to many sites writing about rumors of a relaunch and fans hoping and wishing that those rumors are true.

Lets take a look at some of the big rumors that are surrounding the possibility of a Ford Bronco resurrection. According to speculation...

  • The Ford Bronco is set to release in 2015 or 2016
  • The 4 x 4 will arrive with three different engine options
  • One option will be the Ecoboost 3.5-liter engine
  • Another option will be the Diesel variant 4.9-liter Powerstroke V6 engine
  • The third option will be the 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 engine
  • The Ford Bronco will come in multiple variants, including 4-door Bronco and the Bronco Coupe

Ford has not released an official statement on whether or not they would relaunch the Ford Bronco, but the company did reveal that they are looking to produce two dozen new vehicles next year... and the Bronco could be among them. For all you Ford Bronco fans out there, fingers crossed!
